Visit to the BBMP Forest Department
With a mission to make a meaningful difference in the world, we work on projects that prioritize the health of the environment, such as tree planting and reforestation.
On January 17, 2025, we took a significant step forward in our mission. We met with the BBMP Forest Department at Corporation Circle, marking the start of a new partnership to plant 10,000 plants across the city.
This collaboration promises to be the foundation of lasting environmental change that will benefit not only Bengaluru but also inspire other cities to take similar action.
As we walked into the meeting, the energy was immediately clear. Mr. Narendrababu, the Deputy Forest Officer, welcomed us warmly, and it became evident that we shared the same vision for a greener future.
Through this partnership, BBMP has generously offered to provide the plants and land for the project. With this support, we’re excited to embark on this journey, bringing us closer to our goal of a healthier, more sustainable environment.
While today’s meeting focused on the bigger picture, we all agreed that this project is about much more than just planting trees.
It’s about fostering a future where nature thrives and where sustainability is at the core of our daily lives.
Each plant we add to the ground is a step toward improving air quality, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting biodiversity.
Though today was an exciting milestone, the real work is just beginning.
Over the coming weeks, we will meet again to finalize details—choosing the right species of trees, determining where to plant them, and ensuring the long-term impact of this project.
We are eager to move forward and make this vision a reality.
Leaving the meeting, we felt inspired and hopeful for what was to come. This project isn’t just about trees—it’s about creating a lasting connection to nature and demonstrating the power of collective action.
With the support of BBMP, we are more confident than ever that this partnership will drive significant, positive environmental change.
